The House Next Door is located next to Barnett HQ. A two-bedroom self-catering home that can sleep up to five people comfortably. The House Next Door is a magical place that is perfect for a family getaway, sporting outdoor adventure or a romantic weekend hideaway. We offer solar power when load shedding gets too much!  Escape to your private garden in the early evenings.  Whether you’re on a golf tour or a road trip stopover while you discover the beauty around you in the Garden Route, House Next Door has all the facilities you need to feel at home. Perfectly situated in George, Western Cape, in the suburbs of Heather Park at the base of the Outeniqua Mountains.

There is one bath/shower with adjoining doors to either bedroom. A spacious lounge for games or an afternoon of Netflix binge-watching should you desire. There is a private and cosy garden to enjoy the view of the Outeniqua Mountains, braai/barbeque and relax in an African style Kol Kol wood burning Hot Tub. Enjoy the large kitchen which is fully equipped to cook up a storm or you can order in. The house offers access to Fibre internet and Netflix Bouquet on a Smart TV.  If you’d like the fridge to be pre-stocked on your arrival your hosts can arrange that.

Where is the House Next Door?

Only a 12-minute drive from the airport (Transfers offered). The House Next Door is a Twenty-minute drive to Victoria Bay or Heralds bay and 10 minutes from the famous George RedBerry picking farm.

The House Next Door has its own private entrance with secure parking. If you do not have a vehicle, airport transfers can be arranged to and from the airport. The house Next door is conveniently located near public bus routes but there is a local lifting service to nearby places you may wish to visit in the George area.

The House Next Door follows the Tourism Standard protocols for Covid-19 OPERATIONS. The house is sanitized after every stay, and an anti-bacteria and virus fumigation occurring monthly. We request that you stay home should you not feel well. A refund will be discussed if that is the case.
